The UCHS National Honor Society is open to any 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student who has been enrolled at UCHS for at least one semester and meets the standards for qualification.  Students may seek nomination in the second semester of the sophomore year, first or second semester of their junior year, or first semester of their senior year.

QUALIFICATIONS

Membership in the National Honor Society is based upon excellence in four areas:  Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.  Each category is judged independently of the other.  To be considered for membership, a student must have a weighted GPA of at least 4.0 GPA.  A high scholastic average alone does not automatically guarantee selection.  Students must also have completed 20 service hours for each semester they have been enrolled at UCHS.
